Kiesmy is a South African event vendor directory that connects clients with event service providers ("Partners" or "Vendors").

2. Definitions

• "Client" refers to users who browse and contact vendors.
• "Partner" or "Vendor" refers to event service providers who list their business on Kiesmy.
• "Enquiry" refers to a message sent by a client to a vendor through our platform.
• "Content" refers to any text, images, reviews, or other material submitted to the platform.

3. Account Registration

3.1 Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account on Kiesmy.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

3.3 Accurate Information

You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information when creating your account and profile.

4. For Clients

4.1 Using the Platform

As a client, you may:

• Browse vendor listings and profiles
• Send enquiries to vendors
• Save vendors to your favourites
• Leave reviews for vendors you have worked with

4.2 Enquiry Guidelines

When sending enquiries, you must:

• Provide genuine contact information
• Submit enquiries in good faith
• Not use the platform for spam or unsolicited marketing

4.3 Review Policy

Reviews must:

• Be based on genuine experiences with the vendor
• Be honest, fair, and accurate
• Not contain offensive, defamatory, or inappropriate content
• Not contain personal information of others without consent

Reviews are subject to moderation. We reserve the right to remove reviews that violate these guidelines.

5. Pre-populated Listings

5.1 How Pre-populated Listings Work

Kiesmy may create business listings using publicly available information from business directories, social media, and other public sources. These "pre-populated" listings help clients discover event service providers.

5.2 Claiming Your Listing

If your business has been pre-populated on Kiesmy, you can claim ownership of your listing by using the unique join code sent to your registered business email address. Claiming your listing gives you full control to edit your profile, respond to enquiries, and access analytics.

5.3 Requesting Removal

If you are the owner of a pre-populated listing and would prefer not to be listed on Kiesmy, you may request removal by contacting us at info@kiesmy.co.za. We will remove your listing within 5 business days.

5.4 Accuracy of Pre-populated Information

While we strive to ensure accuracy, pre-populated listings are created from publicly available data and may not be fully up to date. We encourage business owners to claim their listing and verify their information.

6. For Partners (Vendors)

6.1 Listing Requirements

As a partner, you must:

• Provide accurate business information
• Keep your profile and availability up to date
• Respond to enquiries in a timely manner
• Operate a legitimate event-related business

6.2 Content Standards

All content you upload must:

• Be your own work or used with appropriate permission
• Not infringe on intellectual property rights of others
• Not contain misleading or false information
• Be appropriate for an events industry audience

6.3 Prohibited Content

You may not upload content that is:

• Illegal, harmful, or offensive
• Sexually explicit or inappropriate
• Discriminatory or hateful
• Misleading about your services or qualifications

6.4 Responding to Reviews

Partners may respond to reviews left on their profile. Responses must be professional, respectful, and constructive.

7. Intellectual Property

The Kiesmy brand, logo, and website design are our intellectual property. You may not use these without our written permission.

Content you upload to Kiesmy remains your property. By uploading content, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display it on our platform for the purpose of providing our services.

8. Limitation of Liability

Kiesmy is a directory and connection platform. We do not:

• Guarantee the quality of any vendor's services
• Mediate disputes between clients and vendors
• Verify all claims made by vendors
• Guarantee the accuracy of reviews

We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from transactions between clients and vendors arranged through our platform.

9. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through your account settings.

10. Privacy

Your use of Kiesmy is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use your personal information.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
